The traditional fields where spinning lathes are employed are those producing vases, pots and pans, fire extinguishers, lamps, alloy rims, ventilators, etc., whereas the ZANI SPIN MASTER application fields are more extensive.

They range from aeronautics, where centesimal tolerances are required, to household appliances, where mass production and identical dimensional characteristics are fundamental prerequisites.

Finally there are also other fields where spinning by lathes is profitable, both in productive and economic terms. It is exactly for this reason that we have created a special division, where tests on new products and materials are carried out.
Slide Zani SPIN MASTER lathes technology ZANI SPIN MASTER spinning lathes reflect the latest evolution in the field of traditional metal spinning. The flexibility of these machines with numerical control, together with their extreme simplicity of use, allows unlimited application possibilities.

Thanks to numerical control, the spinning of various products – which would otherwise have been impossible to obtain manually (due to high costs and lack of skilled labour) – can be easy achieved. Moreover, these spinning lathes can also be employed for the processing of new materials.

Additionally, the application of electronics to the ZANI SPIN MASTER lathes permits the performance of combined operations that previously had to be made separately by different machines, such as spinning, flanging, threading, trimming and so on.
Slide Software ZANI SPIN MASTER spinning lathes, equipped with numeric control, make any work simple, quick and precise, since, once the instructions required for the machine operation have been starter, the entire work cycle is carried out automatically. On the other hand, the electronics employed by these machines allows an enormous increase in the flexibility of the production programmes . To pass rapidly from one kind of production to another, one has simply to replace the programme previously filed in the memory or on floppy disks. At the same time, any mistake made during programming or necessity of varying the product can be corrected at any time in one or more parts without the need to repeat the whole programme. This is also a great advantage, as it is always possible to intervene in order to vary the production cycle, even when the work has commenced. Programming takes place in two different ways:• data input mode through ISO code • self-learning mode (REPLAY). The latter is controlled by a sophisticated software, but at the same time easy to use. It includes different devices, among which the "CAD-CAM" one. This device can be supplied both on PC and on the CNC, thus offering the opportunity to check every programmed movement directly. This adopts a user-friendly graphic system giving, even to operators without much expertise, the opportunity to programme the machine.
